Manuela Holban studied Painting and Art History at Fine Art Institute in Bucharest and she then completed her studies with extensive travels abroad. In 1987 she migrated to the United States of America where she opened a studio. She exhibited in both the United States and Europe and is currently represented by three American galleries such as Gallery Chiz from Pittsburgh and Pierogi 2000, Brooklyn. This event took place inside the Museum of Art, Cluj-Napoca, between the 24th of October and the 11th of November, with 4-5 rooms dedicated to the exhibition, together with a panel that provided some biographical info about the artist and the general theme of the exhibited works, all dedicated to better preparing the viewer. When possible, the rooms each a had theme, with a room dedicated to the works related to French history, another one for the Netherlands, one related to Spanish history and so on.
